The sessions included awareness on gender justice and legal rights, with lawyers explaining relevant legal provisions. Following the awareness sessions, there was peer sharing of experiences, and one-on-one consultations with the lawyers.
SSSFs provide a safe platform for women to understand their rights, share experiences, discuss challenges and explore available support mechanisms. It is to strengthen solidarity, increase legal awareness, and to provide socio-economic support for survivors and women across Tamil Nadu through regular district and state-level engagement.
