The inaugural of the Single Women Action Network (SWAN): Arankoodam was held in Tirunelveli on 13 September 2025. It laid the foundation for a space for single women to celebrate their freedom by strengthening their economic independence, security, self-integration and removing the stigma that exists in society.
To support the ongoing awareness and solidarity forum, pamphlets covering the PWDV Act, Dowry Prohibition Act, POSH Act, POCSO Act, POA Act, the Street Vendors Act and Swan Single women helpline were distributed to all participants.
