‘National Consultation on Custodial Justice’ was held on சனிக்கிழமை 12 நவம்பர் 2016 in the Vestin Park Hotel, Egmore, Chennai.
The Consultation brought together Human Rights activists and experts to review and reflect upon access to justice in the context of Tamil Nadu. Ms Majja Dharuwala highlighted the human rights standards in custodial institutions and Justice Jagadeesan on civil society engagement with human rights institutions. Activists and experts from Tamil Nadu would highlight the constraints and barriers in accessing justice in diverse contexts across the state.
